The Faults in Our Star: Hazel Grace

So at the beginning of the story we find out that Hazel Grace is the main character of the story. She is a 16 year old girl who has thyroid cancer. we find out that she goes to some Support Group every week and there a new kid comes named Augustus who Hazel kind of likes. Augustus introduces himself to Hazel and we then find out that he is 17 and had some osteosarcoma a little over a year ago but he is at the group to support his friend Isaac. in the end of the chapter Augustus invites Hazel over to his house that night to watch a movie and Hazel agrees to.

I feel like im going to really like this book because in the first chapter Hazel is sarcastic which will hopefully bring in humor to the book. there's romance between Hazel and Augustus. and i have a feeling that it is going to be a sad story because of the camp. i don't know what to expect of the book just yet so i guess im going to have to keep reading.

The Fault in our Stars

For the next i'm going to read, i choose the book The Fault in our Stars by John Green. i choose this book because i have seen a lot of people of reading this book, many people read it for there summer reading project, good reads rated it a 4.5 out of 5 stars, and its a #1 New York Times seller. The book seems to be a very moving and inspiring book. I have gone and read reviews about this book and many of the reviews say that it left them in tears after finishing the book, so I am expecting this book to be very emotional. I am also seeing many positive reviews like "awesome" and "amazing" and "i can not stress how GRAND this book is". The book is about a teenager named Hazel who has some sort of cancer, im guessing the book is going to take us through the life of Hazel Grace and the struggles she has as a kid with Cancer.

I don't know what to expect of the book, i keep on seeing reviews talking about a twist that happens in the book, so i'm not sure what to expect from this book. All i expect fromt his book is a lot of emotions. I remember Mrs. Noble talking about this book on her blog on the first day of school and she said that it was a really good book, so I guess that also helped me lean towards picking this book. I'm wondering this book is a true story, i believe it is but i am not sure on that. I am excited to start reading this book, I dont know whats going to happen. All i'm expecting are surprises.

Summer Reading Project

For my Summer reading project, I read the book Speechless by Hannah Harrington.  A story about a typical high school girl who sneaks out to her friends house for a New Years party. At this party she sees something that she didn't want to see, her being a teenage girl, she told her "best friend". Eventualy, everyone knew what happened at this New Years party. This party ruined her high school life, shes being bullied and all her "friends" have turned her back on her, leaving her with nnon one except for her parents and this new girl who is nice enough to take her in. Her new friend takes her to her work, where she feels loved and had a new "family". To find out happened at the New Years party, weather she is forgived by the school, her friends, goes to prom and to see if high school gets any better for her, read this book.

i recommend this book to people who like drama. It involves a lot of drama between her "best friend" Kristan who is mad at her for letting everyone know about what happened at her New Years Party. I also recommend this book to people who enjoy those kind of high school hallway fights, and "ganging up" on people. This book has a lot of the typical high school drama, from friends fighting, to real fights, to romance, and to the ganging up people get on others to bully someone. All in all, i give this book a **** out of *****. I enjoyed all the drama it came with the book and i could relate to it A LOT concidering it took place in a high school and many of the things happening in the book, I see happening here.
